Parallel Flange Channels - 230x90x32

Steel parallel flange channels (PFCs) are structural steel bars with a distinct "C" or "U" shaped cross-section. Unlike older channel sections that have sloped inner edges, PFCs feature top and bottom flanges that are perfectly flat and parallel to each other. This flat design makes it much easier to bolt or flush-weld the channels to flat plates, walls, and other steel beams without needing special angled washers. Because they have flat backs, they are commonly used in pairs to create strong box beams, or used individually as edge beams, stair stringers, and lintels over windows and doors.
