Universal Columns - 356x368x153

Steel universal columns (UCs), often called "H-beams," are heavy-duty structural steel bars with a cross-section shaped like the letter "H". Unlike Universal Beams, which are deep and narrow, Universal Columns are much more square, meaning their height is roughly equal to their flange width. This squat, balanced shape gives them incredible strength against compression and prevents them from buckling or twisting when vertical weight is pushed down on them. Because they excel at carrying heavy downward loads, they are the standard choice for main vertical columns, load-bearing posts, and foundation piles in multi-storey buildings.
